Rob Verger is a tech and science journalist who writes about everything from artificial intelligence to artificial joints—but he has a special love for writing about aviation.

He's the assistant tech editor at Popular Science. He's also contributed to Newsweek, VICE News, The Daily Beast, The Boston Globe, Nautilus, The Columbia Journalism Review, and other publications. He holds an MA degree in science reporting from Columbia Journalism School.

On-camera experience includes being on the Today show in a segment with Jenna Elfman and Al Roker, appearances on Neil Cavuto's Coast to Coast program, and Cheddar.

Reporting trips have taken him to places such as Kazakhstan, Ethiopia, and, domestically, up in an F-16 with the Thunderbirds.
